Global Industrie: a privileged vantage point on French industry

The 2022 Global Industrie event was held May 17-20 in the prestigious setting of the Paris Nord Villepinte exhibition grounds.

Although a relatively young fair (in fact, this is the fourth edition), Global Industrie is already established as one of Europe's most important stages for the industrial universe: having emerged from themerger of four complementary fairs that are leaders in their field, namely Midest (specializing in industrial subcontracting), Smart Industries (focusing on connected, collaborative, sustainable and efficient industry), Industrie (manufacturing technologies and equipment) and Tolexpo (sheet metal solutions and equipment), Global Industrie has established itself as France's leading industrial fulfillment event.

Coral: serving industry in France since 1969

Because of a presence in the French market that goes back more than 50 years and now has three offices in the territory (Paris since 1969, Lyon since 1982, and Poitiers since 1990), Coral could not have missed an event of this magnitude, especially to take the pulse of the market after the two difficult years marked by the Covid-19 pandemic.

And the numbers bode well for the future of industry in France: 2,300 exhibitors from the most diverse sectors of the industrial ecosystem, 100,000 square meters of exhibition space with as many as 1,500 machines in operation for live demonstrations to more than 40,000 visitors from 85 countries.

Both through the variety and quality of its exhibitors and through those of the events it hosts that allow people to see, touch and understand cutting-edge innovations and industrial processes, Global Industrie promotes and rewards the latest innovations and provides a comprehensive overview of the changes affecting the world of industry.

A picture emerges of the French industry that portrays it as a vibrant world more than ever, eager for innovation and sustainability.

The presence of Coral is especially related to the latter: indeed, it has always been the company's mission to promote processing that preserves the health of workers in the long run and allows the same machines to run better and longer, through systems designed to suck in and filter out atmospheric impurities that cause damage to the body as much as to the processing.

It was therefore a unique opportunity to carry out, in one context, monitoring of emerging trends and signals to predict and anticipate transformations in the industry.
