How the smoke and dust extraction system works
Coral built the following extraction system for fumes and dust generated by welding and grinding operations performed for the maintenance and overhaul of train rails.
For precise and direct extraction of fumes and dust, the system includes self-supporting suction arms mod. Evolution positioned close to the work area and the source of pollutant emission. After that, the sucked air is conveyed to an Aircompact horizontal cartridge filter, which can effectively separate the pollutant particles contained in the air stream. Dusty air is fed into the filter from the top, imparting a downward force such that the coarser particles precipitate directly into the collection bin. Next, the air is conveyed to the filter cartridges and, depositing the impurities by passing from the outside to the inside, is returned purified.
The installed cartridge filter is equipped with a cyclic pneumatic air cleaning system that ensures the periodic cleaning of the cartridges in order to maintain the efficiency of the filter and, consequently, of the entire smoke and dust extraction system built. In any case, any replacement and maintenance operations of the filter cartridges are simple and quick thanks to the horizontal arrangement that provides easier access.
