Design of extraction and filtration equipment

Coral is not limited exclusively to the production and distribution of products of excellence to prevent and combat industrial pollution, but stands out as a multifaceted reality that, to ensure maximum support for its customers, also offers among its services the design of extraction and filtration systems.

Dealing with these specific processes is the Engineering division located in Trezzano Rosa, Lombardy, which has been offering customized air treatment systems for more than four decades.

Dealing with these specific processes are the dedicated engineering divisions located in France in Bondoufle (near Paris), Lyon , and Poitiers, which have been offering customized air treatment systems for more than four decades.

Handling these specific processes is the Engineering division located in Germany's Leverkusen, which designs and installs custom air treatment systems.

Enter the corporate reality of Coral Engineering

The founding of the Engineering division dates back to 1977, when Coral realized that in order to ensure the highest quality for its customers, it must not limit itself to product development alone, but must expand its expertise by designing customized vacuum systems made to the specific needs of the end user.

The first official headquarters chosen to house the new company was established in Melzo, but later, due to needs related to logistical expansion, it was moved first to Gorgonzola in 1990 and finally to its current location in Trezzano Rosa. The facility covers about 3,500 square meters and is equipped with a large warehouse for the assembly of orders, as well as facilities large enough to house thetechnical design, commercial, logistics, administrative and assembly departments.

In addition to the expansion of space, an additional motivation that led the company to move to Trezzano Rosa in 2012 is the strategic location: in fact, the office is easily accessible from the highway and not far from Milan. In order to better meet the demands of customers located also outside the Milanese province, since 2013 Coral Engineering has opened new units specialized in the design of vacuum systems also in Piedmont, Emilia-Romagna and Veneto, bringing the knowledge acquired in these years of activity to other Italian regions.

The new operating offices in Turin, Bologna and Vicenza are dedicated to the design of quality vacuum systems. They are all equipped with a specialized technical team capable of evaluating the most suitable purification systems and have experienced and trained salespeople.

How our implants come to life

Equipment developed by Coral Engineering is suitable for performingextraction and filtration of a wide variety ofpollutants that may be present in different manufacturing sectors. Among those that Coral extraction systems can handle are dust, fumes, oil mists, vapors, composite materials, fibers, chips, and paint residues.
In addition to handling a wide range of pollutants, the systems offered by the Engineering division can adapt to the filtering needs of various industries, including aerospace, aviation, agribusiness, automotive, chemical/pharmaceutical, electronics, carpentry, rubber, marine, painting, steel, and specialized recycling.

What makes the design of Coral vacuum systems unique

What makes the solutions proposed by the Engineering division unique is theattention that the entire team devotes to the design of suction systems. Thanks to this teamwork, the realized system can be developed, already at the preliminary stage, with components and technological solutions suitable to guarantee the optimal operation of the machine and greater durability over time.
A primary interest for the Engineering division is also the production of safe and reliable systems, both for the operators involved and for the environment. For this reason, all vacuum systems manufactured are tested and evaluated in accordance with current safety regulations. This approach makes it possible to significantly reduce environmental impact, containing pollution and the use of natural resources. Taking into account the specific needs of the customer, the proposed plants are completely flexible and can be adapted to solve different types of problems.

Workflow: the design of our vacuum systems

01

Survey and inspection at the customer's site - Observation and listening are the basis for understanding the consumer's needs. That is why, before designing the system, Coral technicians must make preliminary assessments and verify the feasibility of installation at the customer's site.

02

Drafting of the technical-economic quotation - Once the survey has been carried out, a detailed technical report containing the economic evaluation, formulated according to the customizations to be performed and the functionality of the system, can be prepared.

03

Receiving the order and executive survey at the customer's site - Having found the right compromise, the order is taken over and surveying is carried out again, this time aimed at the technical realization of the drawing.

04

Realization of the executive drawing in 3D and drafting of the bill of materials - Each project is developed from scratch. Therefore, once all the checks have been performed, the executive drawing is done. Graphs are made in 3D to give the client a realistic view of the plant when completed. At this stage, the most suitable materials for the final product are also selected.

05

Materials procurement and production - Once the first phase of vacuum system design is completed, materials are purchased from suppliers selected by the company.

06

Assembly and shipping - Assembly is carried out directly by the technical team, which supervises each stage of the project and resolves any critical issues that may arise during assembly. Once completed, the purification plant is carefully packed and shipped to the customer's site.

07

Mechanical and electrical installation - Once the system arrives at its destination, it is installed based on the surveys carried out in the previous stages. In this way, the technical team is able to ensure proper and timely installation in a short time.

08

Customer testing and training - Before the plant is finally delivered, final checks are made at the customer's site to ensure that everything is fully functional and ready for use. In addition, the customer receives the necessary training to immediately integrate the plant within their own operations.

09

Sending the specific manuals and proposing a preventive maintenance contract for the system - Once the design of the vacuum system is completed, Coral Engineering undertakes to send the relevant, comprehensive manual and propose a periodic maintenance contract, aimed at ensuring the proper functioning and durability of the system over time.
