Coral Rubber Dust Suction And Filtration Plant26

Dust extraction system suitable for tire grinding operations

  • Plant type: Rubber dust extraction
  • Air flow rate: 7,000 cu m/h
  • Filter type: Bag filter mod. Aircom

How the plant works

For the extraction of rubber dust from tire grinding operations, Coral has built the following equipment.

Two suction hoods are placed near the processing area, as well as downpipes in flexible piping for the purpose of suctioning directly to the production area. These are connected to a main manifold that conveys polluted air to an AIRCOM bag filter. The dusty air is fed below the filter sleeves through the inlet inserted and connected to the hopper. The significant decrease in velocity causes the coarser sucked dust to precipitate into the collection container. Next, air is conveyed to the filter bags and, passing from the outside to the inside, deposits impurities and is then returned fully purified. Finally, thanks to the vacuum created by a high-performance centrifugal electric fan, the filtered air reaches an exhaust pipe for expulsion.

During the dust extraction process, the filter always exerts high levels of efficiency due to the cyclic countercurrent cleaning system that is periodically automatically activated, removing dust that has gradually settled in the sleeves.
