Suction for naval sector
Environmental sustainability in shipyards
Shipbuilding presents unique challenges for fume extraction compared to other industries: first, all shipbuilding processes involve welding or metalworking operations, which generate very hazardous fumes for workers. Long-term exposure to welding fumes and particulate matter can lead to serious health consequences, from severe respiratory problems to several types of cancer. Another challenge in the shipbuilding industry is to work in both small, confined places and on incredibly large surfaces-this requires a wide range of fume extraction solutions that provide the same high efficiency under very different conditions.
