Operation of industrial dust filters

The bag filter Coral It is designed with a modular structure in self-supporting painted panels , which includes three sections: upper with the automatic compressed air or electromechanical cleaning system , central with the filter sleeves and lower with legs, discharge hopper and inlets for dusty air.

The filter works in depression: the polluted air enters from the hopper, the heaviest particles settle immediately and are collected in the wheeled bin. The version with a calming chamber for high dust concentrations and the one with a rotary valve and discharge screw are also available . For more complex applications, it is possible to request the version with a calming chamber (CC) which incorporates a pre-abatement for dust with high concentrations. The entry, in this case, does not take place in the hopper, but directly in the calming chamber. Alternatively, the hopper can be equipped with a rotary valve and discharge screw (CVS).

Compressed air cleaning systems for bag filters

Numerous dust filters, produced by Coral , are equipped with a compressed air cleaning system that keeps the system performance constant. A programmer with a depressed state manages the automatic activation of the solenoid valves, ensuring the cyclic cleaning of one row of sleeves at a time . This system ensures high filtration efficiency and reduced pressure drop. Compact filters, on the other hand, can be equipped with an electromechanical shaking cleaning system, which significantly reduces the need to replace the filter sleeves.
