Coral Industry 5.0 Ready

The 2023 edition of the Young Entrepreneurs Confindustria conference, which unites Italian industrialists under 40, opens today, June 23, in Rapallo, near Genoa. The theme chosen for this year is "New Frontier - Direction 5.0," and will see the nation's talented young entrepreneurs discuss steps to be taken to align Italian companies with Industry 5.0.

What is Industry 5.0?

In the words of the European Commission,Industry 5.0 envisions an approach and vision of work that goes beyond efficiency and productivity, encouraging the adoption of tools and strategies aimed at the digital and "green" transition.

Therefore, not only energy conservation, use of renewable sources and technological improvements, but also and above all asustainable and resilient economy that puts people at the center, particularly with regard to worker well-being and the protection of their health.

How can industry become 5.0?

As early as 2019, the European Commission set out the continent's six priorities to be pursued by 2024, and as many as three of them relate to industry and the economy: the "European Green Deal," "Europe Ready for the Digital Age," and "An Economy Serving People." This is because the development of society and common welfare depend to a large extent on developments related to the world of work, starting from the reduction of pollution due to energy consumption to the optimization of resources through the use of systems that allow even very complex operations to be carried out remotely.

What Coral does for Industry 5.0

Thanks to the technologies developed by Coral over the years, we are committed to ensuring a safe working environment, both for our customers and for ourselves (in fact, the production facilities of Coral and the other companies in the Group are equipped with our own equipment and systems).

The product lines and air extraction, filtration and purification equipment created by Coral cater to a wide range of industries, from metalworking to woodworking, fromelectronics to chemistry, from aerospace toagriculture.

In addition, Coral has developed Ahead, a state-of-the-art software that can optimize plant performance, which can be monitored and controlled remotely, to perform maintenance and inspections without the need to send technical personnel to the site, resulting in reduced costs and pollutant emissions for transportation.

The goal is to ensure that the people of today and tomorrow live in a healthier, more balanced and sustainable world, starting within the workplace. On the preservation of the air we breathe every day depends both our health and the future of our planet, and so it is important that this awareness is also being raised in industry.
