Imagine a priceless cargo, escorted by the Italian Army and transported thanks to the performance of young athletes. Thus began the prestigious adventure of "Egypt Unveiled," an experiential and immersive exhibition in which artifacts dating back some three thousand years, that is, during the 21st Egyptian dynasty, will be restored before the eyes of the public by the expert hands of the team coordinated by Professor Teodoro Auricchio.

Professor Auricchio is curator of the exhibition hosted at the Gothic Palace in Piacenza (open until Feb. 26, 2023), is president of theEuropean Institute of Restoration, and coordinated the presence of the Brussels Art and History Museum and the National Archaeological Museum in Naples on this occasion.

The tools used for the "live" restoration of the original sarcophagi of the Deir el-Bahari Hideout and other artifacts from museums in Naples, Pavia, Bergamo and Crema also include localized suction systems made by Coral, to enable the team of restorers to work delicately and safely.
