Pressurized paint booths

CORAL pressurized booths consist of a modular enclosure connected to one or more spray booths. The structure is made of sandwich panels with an inner or outer layer of 1.5 mm thick press-formed sheet metal and an insulating layer of rock wool with a density of 80 kg/m³, as specified in the panel construction details.

The cabin dimensions can be configured in various combinations, including 3×4, 3×6, 3×8, 4×4, 4×6, 4×8, 5×6, 5×8, 5×10, 5×12, 6×6, 6×8, 6×10, and 6×12 m, with a clear height under the filter canopy of 3 m. The configuration may include glazed panels alternating with solid panels, a double door measuring 2 x 2.1 m H, a single door measuring 1 x 2.1 m H, 2×36 W weatherproof lamps installed every 2 m along the long sides, a filter plenum, an electrical panel, and connections between the plenum, AHU, or generator.

The air handling and supply system can be implemented using CTA units or a hot air generator. CORAL CTA units are designed for pressurization with or without heating, for supplying clean air to dust-free rooms and airtight chambers, and for heating, cooling, or air conditioning industrial environments. The CTA range covers maximum flow rates from 6,000 to 26,000 m³/h, with models CTA1, CTA2, CTA3, CTA4, and CTA5, fan power ratings from 3 to 7.5 kW, and sound levels ranging from 69 to 74 dB(A).

For the treatment of painting emissions, the KARB unit can be integrated—an activated carbon filter designed to adsorb organic solvents and gaseous pollutants. The KARB system includes a filter section with regenerable corrugated panels, an activated carbon section, and a ventilation section with a double-inlet fan. The KARB models listed in this document cover flow rates from 9,500 to 29,000 m³/h, with activated carbon quantities ranging from 330 to 550 kg, an activated carbon bed thickness of 80 mm, a maximum flow velocity of 0.5 m/s, and a contact time of 0.16 s.

The line also includes oven-type booth configurations for paint drying. In this case, the unit is equipped with an air distribution plenum, an air handling unit (AHU) or a hot air generator, fume extraction fans, and a control panel. The temperature is automatically regulated up to a maximum of 40°C, depending on the application.
