A common front among Europe's leading companies for the development of the industry: this represents the European Welding Association ( EWA ), the association of large companies that manufacture welding equipment and related machinery.
In July 2021, Coral joined EWA, joining other major industry groups in the union. Prominent among the goals shared by the companies that are members of the association is the representation of the welding industry's interests vis-à-vis governments, the European Commission and major trade organizations.
Of course, the discussion also includes technological and regulatory developments for sustainable growth of the welding industry, with a special focus on worker health protection, an issue Coral has always been sensitive to.
The extraction and filtration of welding fumes, the main risk factor in companies in the sector, is one of the fields in which Coral is the leading European player, and by including Coral among its members, the EWA has given evidence of its support that the future of welding also lies in safe working conditions.
